Canton, OH — In a debut tournament that will be remembered for years, HYPAELITE took Canton, Ohio by storm — winning two national championships (5s and 7s) and announcing themselves as one of the top girls flag football teams in the country. The squad went head-to-head with elite competition from across the nation, including powerhouse teams from Chicago, and emerged as champions on both days.
At the heart of the team’s success was quarterback Amaya Moreno, whose leadership, poise, and elite decision-making guided H Elite through pressure-packed moments and helped orchestrate the team’s explosive offense. Her field vision, clutch throws, and calm under pressure were a major key to the team’s championship run.
Maddie Coger was named MVP on Day 1, putting on a show with her speed, athleticism, and big-play ability. On Day 2, Claire McMahon stepped into the spotlight, earning MVP honors for her lockdown defense, crisp route running, and game-changing impact on both sides of the ball.
The championship effort was powered by a complete team performance. Claire McMahon, Maddie Coger, and Briana Saunders led the charge with standout plays, relentless energy, and explosive production. Isa Addy delivered in clutch moments, making key plays down the stretch and displaying veteran-level composure when games were on the line.

The future of the program looks just as promising. Rising talents like freshman Evie Maas, Tatum King, Maddie Morris, Matilda Lister, and Sophia Coffman all stepped up and made meaningful contributions. Their poise and hustle added valuable depth and proved that HypaMark Elite is building something special for the long term.
“This team came together fast — but from the first snap, you could tell something special was happening,” . “They beat some of the most established teams in the country, including elite programs from Chicago, and they did it with trust, focus, and heart. And with Amaya leading us at quarterback, we were in great hands all weekend.”
HYPAELITE didn’t just show up — they dominated, going two-for-two in their first-ever tournament and sending a clear message: the standard is set, and it’s Elite.
