HypaElite Captures Jr. Olympics Gold in Houston, Clinches Third National Championship of the Summer

Houston, TX – August 2, 2025 – HypaElite has solidified its status as a national powerhouse in girls’ flag football, winning Gold at the 2025 Jr. Olympics in Houston, Texas. The title marks HypaElite’s third national championship this summer, following dominant runs in Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Texas.

Breanna Saunders was named Gold Medal Game MVP, delivering a clutch performance and leading the team with confidence and precision. After returning from injury, Amaya Moreno sparked the offense with two crucial scoring drives, providing leadership and resilience when it mattered most.

The team’s success was driven by a total effort. Maddie Coger and Becky Currence consistently made impact plays on both sides of the ball, setting the tone with their energy and execution.

Defensively, Jaiya Davis made critical stops down the stretch to help shut down the opposing offense. Isa Ady was equally dominant on defense, coming up big in key moments with lockdown coverage and clutch tackles.

Every athlete played a pivotal role. Evaina Maas, Ella Mutters, Tatum King, Sophia Coffman, and Matilda Lister each contributed in meaningful ways throughout the tournament—whether through timely catches, defensive stands, or smart, disciplined play.

Adding to the championship atmosphere, NFL tight end Donald Parham Jr. and University of Houston star guard Emanuel Sharp were both in attendance to support the team and witness the historic win.

“This team is the embodiment of heart, grit, and excellence,” said HypaElite CEO Riczer Desvaristes. “To capture three national championships in one summer speaks to their relentless preparation, commitment, and belief in one another. I’m beyond proud of these athletes—and deeply thankful to our coaches, who pour into these girls daily, and to the parents, whose support and sacrifices make all of this possible.
With a gold medal now in hand and momentum on their side, HYPAELITE enters the 2026 with national recognition and championship expectations.
