Scottsdale, AZ — September 8, 2025 — The HERGame Empowerment Summit is thrilled to announce its 2025 headliners: Diana Flores, Lisa Borowsky, Jamie Boggs, and Amaya Moreno. This event brings together distinguished women leaders from sports, law, education, and athletics administration to inspire, empower, and mentor the next generation of women leaders in sport and business.

Speaker Bios

Diana Flores – NFL Flag Global Icon: Diana Flores is the captain and quarterback of Mexico’s World Champion national flag football team, serving as a global ambassador for the sport through her partnerships with the NFL and the International Federation of American Football (IFAF). She is also a television game analyst and sports broadcaster for major networks including FOX Deportes and Univision, with coverage extending to Super Bowl LVIII. A decorated flag football superstar, Flores has earned multiple national and international titles: four national championships since 2017, a Bronze World Cup Medal in 2016, a Silver Medal in 2021, “Best Offensive Player” at the 2018 World Flag Football Championship in Panama, and MVP at the 2022 World Games where her leadership guided her team to gold. Flores was named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 in 2024 and served as offensive coordinator for the AFC at the 2023 NFL Pro Bowl alongside Peyton Manning. She also starred in the NFL’s Super Bowl LVII advertisement, “Run With It,” which won an Emmy in 2023.

Lisa Borowsky– Scottsdale Mayor, A lifelong Scottsdale resident, Lisa Borowsky grew up riding and showing quarter horses competitively, amassing numerous local, state, and national championships. After graduating from Scottsdale public schools, she earned her bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University and a J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law in New York. Returning to Arizona, Lisa launched her legal career in commercial litigation and later dedicated herself to advocating for homeowners harmed by substandard construction, securing millions of dollars in settlements and judgments for her clients.

Jamie Boggs – Vice President of Athletics, Grand Canyon University: Jamie Boggs was appointed Vice President of Athletics at Grand Canyon University on April 26, 2021, after serving as interim athletics leader since August 2019. She oversees all day-to-day operations for 21 Lopes sports, including men’s basketball, softball, and baseball.

Since joining GCU in January 2015, Boggs has played a key role in establishing the university’s Division I footprint, stabilizing the Western Athletic Conference, improving student-athlete academic outcomes, and integrating athletics with the broader university culture. A native Phoenician, she is the first woman to serve as athletics director at GCU and one of only four Asian-American Division I ADs nationally.

Amaya Moreno – Rising High School Flag Football Star Amaya Moreno is a standout junior (Class of 2027). Recognized as one of the top 100 high school flag football quarterbacks to watch for the 2025-26 season, Moreno brings energy, leadership, and on-field excellence to the Summit.

2024-25 Season Highlights:

Passing: 4,868 yards on 340 completions of 506 attempts, 65 touchdown passes, 10 interceptions
Rushing: 1,083 yards on 130 carries, 13 rushing touchdowns
