HYPAELITE Crowned Champions at Philadelphia Flag Football Tournament

Philadelphia, PA — The HYPAELITE girls flag football team made a powerful statement this weekend, finishing 6-1 and capturing the championship title at the Flag Football Tournament in Philadelphia, PA . With grit, talent, and elite execution, HYPAELITE took down several top-tier programs — including a standout victory over the NFL New York Jets Elite team — solidifying their status as one of the premier teams in the nation.

The tournament was filled with big plays and bigger moments, and Amaya Moreno rose to the occasion, earning MVP honors for her leadership, athleticism, and clutch performances. Her presence on both sides of the ball was a driving force throughout the tournament.

HYPAELITE’s success was a true team effort. Becky Currence, Maddie Coger, and Briana Saunders delivered dominant performances, consistently making game-changing plays and setting the tone for the team. Their energy and execution elevated HYPAELITE’s level of play against the toughest competition. Down the stretch, Isa Ady came up big with key plays in high-pressure moments, helping secure critical wins in tight games and showing veteran-level composure when it mattered most.

The team also saw key contributions from a rising group of younger athletes. Freshman Evie Maas, Tatum King, Maddie Morris, Matilda Lister, and Sophia Coffman all stepped up and played beyond their years, showing poise, hustle, and a deep understanding of the game. Their performances proved that the future of HYPAELITE is bright and getting even stronger.

With this championship run, HYPAELITE continues to redefine excellence in girls flag football. They’re not just winning games — they’re building a legacy.
