The Cactus Cup Girls Flag Football League is revolutionizing girls' flag football at the youth and high school level by introducing a professional touch with events like a combine and live, in-person draft. As the sport continues to gain momentum, this league offers young athletes a competitive platform to develop their skills, showcase their talent, and experience the excitement of a high-energy, professional sports environment.

  • Season Duration: 12 weeks

    • Regular Season: 10 weeks

    • Playoffs: 2 weeks

  • Divisions:

    • High School Division: 6–8 teams

    • Middle School Division: 6–8 teams

  • Participants:

    • Open to all female high school players, including Class of 2025 seniors, and middle school students

  • Games & Practices:

    • 1–2 practices per week

    • 1 games per week

  • Locations:

    • Scottsdale

  • Rules:  Games will adhere to the High School 7-on-7 format, incorporating rules from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA)

  • Scouting Reports & Write-Ups: Weekly live scouting reports and write-ups will highlight standout performances, fostering recognition and a sense of achievement.

A. Season Tickets: $50 (includes admission and parking for all games; just $5 per game!)

A. No. Tickets are subject to availability, and we recommend purchasing in advance to guarantee your spot.

 

Eligibility and Team Selection

Who is eligible to play in the league?

A. The league is open to all middle school and high school girls, including current seniors.

 

How are players selected for teams?

A. Players will be evaluated during a combine and drafted through an official in-person draft process, mirroring the structure of professional league

What time should I arrive at the venue?

  • We recommend arriving at least 30 minutes before the game to allow time for parking and finding your seats.

Will concessions be available?

  • Yes, a variety of food and beverages will be available for purchase at the venue.
