The 2025 Cactus Cup Girls Flag Football League regular season is almost here. With so many talented athletes in the league, here is a preseason watchlist for a few of the many great players.

During the Cactus Cup season, there will be scouting reports for players and how well they perform, amongst other forms of content showcasing all the athletes.

Now, here is the list of five players who are a part of the preseason watchlist.

Moriah Green

Wide Reciever; Class of 2026.

2024 Statistics: 147 receptions, 2502 receiving yards, 21 receiving touchdowns.

Green is a wide receiver in the Cactus Cup and she should put on a show. Green is widely considered one of the best receivers in the state of Arizona and she gets the opportunity to keep improving and showcasing her talents. Whether it is her route running or speed, she always finds a way to get open and get yards after the catch. Green is going to make defenses pay if she is left on an island one-on-one.

Mia Johnson

Defensive Back; Class of 2026.

2024 Statistics: 85 tackles, 2 sacks, 6 interceptions.

Johnson comes into the Cactus Cup as one of the best cornerbacks and overall defensive players in the league. She has proved through many reps she can be considered a lockdown corner. At the same time, she is a crucial part of the run game as she can recognize plays at a high level and provide run support. Johnson will look to be a big part of her team's success through her elite-level defense.

Serena De Rosa

Linebacker; Class of 2026.

2024 statistics unavailable. 2023 Statistics: 62 tackles, 15 sacks.

De Rosa comes into the Cactus Cup league has one of the most dominant pass rushers. She has steadily gotten better overtime and can at any point take over a game. A lot of the times teams have to double her in order to give their quarterback time to throw. Overall De Rosa is going to be a nightmare for offenses given her ability to disrupt any play.

Lexi Harper

Quarterback; class of 2025.

2024 Statistics: 2694 passing yards, 715 rushing yards, 21 passing touchdowns.

Harper is another quarterback to keep an eye on this season. Harper is a dual-threat quarterback who can make you pay with her running ability. What makes her so special is that she can beat you with her arm or legs. She also has shown that throughout seasons she steadily gets better. Expect a lot of option plays for Harper during the Cactus Cup as her team will likely want to get some big rushing plays from her.
